It's kind of 50-50 I guess. It's more just kind of a tribute to a game I really loved growing up but it is intended to be funny. I'm going to try to record some more narration (with a better mic) tomorrow, so hopefully I'll have a second one up before the weekend that will definitely be more humorous.

I was thinking about that actually, but I'm not really sure what the 'rules' of a Let's Play are and I'd also be concerned about having loads of dead air. I like to think of the next one as kind of like a mini-Let's Play -- like what would be the 'greatest hits' if this was an hour long instead of 7 or 8 minutes.

What's the difference between a Let's Play and gameplay and commentary?

Maybe I'm speaking out of my ass, but I think Penny Arcade is really big on the "Let's Play." Someone makes a thread with that in the title and the title of the game and then give a rundown of it to some extent. The intention is to get a group of people playing through it at the same time which usually harbors better discussion.

A let's play is when someone uploads video of them playing through a game beginning to end and records commentary over it. Usually associated with a forum thread.

A gameplay/commentary is the same idea, but isn't an entire game. For example, they're most popular with COD multiplayer matches.

I just watched the Smash TV review. It was funny, good shit man. To clarify Let's Play come from SA and PA is their red-headed step child. It's popular everywhere on the Internet now.
