Finally got a PS2...from a guy at work. It has the phone/ethernet jacks at the back, and the interface has "hdd" in the Sony stylized engraving on it. Does this mean it has a hard drive? How can I tell without taking things apart? From what I read on Wikipedia it's not like the hard drive on the Xbox, and only a few games used it. Also can I upgrade the programming on it (what items are listed under "Version" when I turn it on)?

Last but not least...has anyone ever tried the Linux kit that was made for it?
